Personal Information

He Jizhou, Ph.D., born in 1962, is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Nanchang University. He graduated from Xiamen University with a major in Condensed Matter Physics. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the fields of condensed matter physics, thermodynamics, and statistical physics. His main research interests include: (1) Quantum thermodynamics theory and energy conversion efficiency of open quantum systems (quantum heat engines); (2) Performance and optimization of mesoscopic Brownian stochastic heat engines; (3) Thermoelectric transport properties of low-dimensional micro/nano structures and performance optimization of thermoelectric devices. He has presided over 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects and 3 provincial-level projects, and participated in 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects. He has published more than 100 academic papers in important domestic and foreign journals such as Physical Review E, Journal of Physics A, and Applied Energy. He has won one Second Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science and one Third Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science. He is a Leader of Physics Discipline in Jiangxi Provincial Universities and a Director of the National Teaching Research Association for Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics.
