Jin Hualan, Ph.D. (Postdoctoral)/Associate Professor/Master’s Supervisor, is a faculty member of the School of Physics and Materials Science, Nanchang University, and also a Member of the Rare Earth Light Alloy Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Rare Earths. She conducted academic research as a visiting scholar at Michigan Technological University in the United States from 2016 to 2018. Her research interests include the preparation and purification of high-quality rare earth master alloys, the composition design, preparation and application of high-performance rare earth magnesium/aluminum alloys, and zinc alloy biomaterials. She has presided over and participated in 5 national-level projects including National Natural Science Foundation projects and National Key R&D Program projects/sub-projects, as well as 8 provincial-level projects; she has published more than 20 SCI papers in the past 5 years and obtained 6 authorized invention patents; she has also presided over and completed 2 teaching reform projects. She has guided undergraduate students to win the Third Prize in the National College Student Microstructure Photography Competition, the Second Prize in the 9th National College Student Metallographic Skills Competition, the First Prize and Third Prize in the National College Student Life Science Competition (2022, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Category), and 2 university-level Excellent Graduation Thesis Awards.
