Chen Huaying, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at Nanchang University.
She mainly undertakes the listed teaching of the public basic course College Physics for science and engineering students across the university, the teaching of the professional course Mechanics in the Department of Physics, and the teaching of the innovative credit course College Physics Competition Innovation Training. She is the Person in Charge of Provincial First-Class Course and a supervisor for college students' physics innovation competitions. She won the Nomination Award for Top Ten Teaching Models of Nanchang University (2018). As the Person in Charge of the course College Physics (1) Volume 2, she was approved as a Jiangxi Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Course (2023). She has completed one provincial key teaching reform project as the principal investigator, and published one textbook for physics major courses as the first editor. As a core member, she has won the First Prize (2019) and Second Prize (2021) of Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards. She has won the Excellent Teaching Quality Award and Excellent Nomination Award of Nanchang University for more than 20 consecutive times, and also won 5 teaching competition awards. She has guided students to win the First Prize in Jiangxi Provincial College Students' Physics Innovation Competition (2020, 2021, 2023, 2024).
Her main research direction is plasma physics. She has published more than 20 academic papers in domestic and international journals, including 12 as the first author; 15 papers included in SCI and 3 papers included in EI. She has completed one Jiangxi Provincial Youth Science Fund Project as the principal investigator, and participated in the research work of 3 National Natural Science Foundation Projects and multiple provincial projects as the first participant.
