Cai Yingxiang, Ph.D., Master's Supervisor, Professor. He studied as a doctoral student at the Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences from September 2003 to February 2007, obtained his master's degree from Liaoning Technical University from September 2000 to July 2003, and completed his undergraduate studies at Liaoning Technical University from September 1996 to July 2000. He has been working at Nanchang University since April 2007. His research focuses on theoretical studies of carbon two-dimensional atomic crystals, high-pressure phase transitions of typical AB compounds, first-principles research on ultrahigh-pressure synthesized metastable materials, and photolytic water applications of non-metallic porous materials. Up to now, he has published more than 40 academic papers in international authoritative journals, and has won teaching achievement awards as well as undertaken key teaching reform projects.
