Personal Information

Dr. He Xiaohui is a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor at Nanchang University, as well as an external part-time doctoral advisor at South China University of Technology. She was selected for the 2007 Jiangxi Province New Century Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project, served as a leading expert in polymer materials for Jiangxi Province from 2007 to 2009, and was recognized as a leading academic and technical figure in major disciplines in Jiangxi Province during the 17th batch in 2013. She earned her Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Sun Yat-sen University in 2004. From 2006 to 2008, she completed her postdoctoral research at Nanchang University's Materials Physics and Chemistry Research Station. In 2009-2010, she was a visiting scholar at the MIT Department of Chemistry, where she studied under Professor Richard R. Schrock, the 2005 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry.

Extensive research has been conducted in multiple areas, including the design and synthesis of transition metal catalysts for norbornene copolymerization, structural and catalytic property optimization, development of high-performance norbornene-based materials, functionalization of norbornene for solid-state polyelectrolyte membranes in lithium batteries, norbornene-based ion exchange membranes for fuel cells, and high-performance polyimide materials. The team has accumulated extensive experience and profound research expertise. They have co-supervised 56 graduate students, including 8 doctoral candidates.
