Personal Information

Dr. Lu Yan, associate professor of the Department of Physics of Nanchang University, master's supervisor, graduated from the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014, joined Nanchang University in the same year, and went to Washington University in St. Louis for a one-year study in 2018. The main research direction is the first principle calculation research of electrical, optical, magnetic and other properties in low-dimensional materials. He has published more than 30 SCI papers in physics journals such as Physical Review B, ACS Applied Materials & Interface, New Journal of Physics, etc. He mainly teaches undergraduate courses such as General Physics (Mechanics) and Solid State Physics, and Graduate courses such as Magnetism in Condensed Matter and Solid Theory.
