Personal Information
Zhang Berlin, Ph.D. in Engineering, is a specially appointed researcher and master's supervisor. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in January 2020. From April 2020 to November 2024, he worked as an associate researcher at the Institute of New Materials Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing. Since December 2024, he has been working at Nanchang University, primarily engaged in research on recycled non-ferrous metals and flue gas denitrification. He was selected for the Youth Talent Support Program by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Beijing Association for Science and Technology. He has led over 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Project, the Energy-saving and Low-carbon Materials Platform Project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (as an internal leader), sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program, and enterprise-commissioned projects. He has published more than 30 academic papers, filed 33 China invention patents (including 17 authorized and 11 transferred), and 2 U.S. invention patents. He has also contributed to the compilation of one monograph and the formulation of one standard. He has received the Second Prize of the Beijing Invention Patent Award and the Second Prize of the Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award.
