Personal Information
The individual is primarily engaged in the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of urban-rural planning and architectural design, as well as research work related to traditional building conservation and urban-rural planning.
In terms of teaching responsibilities, they deliver courses covering the theories of urban-rural planning and architecture, curriculum design, graduation project supervision, and practical training programs. With over a decade of experience serving as a class advisor for multiple cohorts, they have mentored students of all grades and supervised graduates across more than ten academic years in participating in university student competitions and joint graduation design projects, securing dozens of national and provincial-level awards. They have also guided numerous graduating students to win the University-level Excellent Graduation Design Award, and advised postgraduate candidates whose theses were recognized with the Provincial-level Excellent Master's Thesis Award.
The individual was selected for a one-year government-sponsored academic visit and research program at the University of Edinburgh, UK.
They have published more than ten academic papers in Chinese core journals at home and abroad, including several SCI-indexed papers in JCR Q2 disciplines. They have presided over provincial-level education reform projects, dozens of research projects, and scores of industry-collaborated projects (with a cumulative funding of several million yuan), while also participating in multiple urban planning and design initiatives.
Their professional achievements have been widely recognized, as evidenced by numerous national and provincial-level Excellent Design Awards. They have also garnered honors such as "Outstanding Undergraduate Class Advisor", "Young Backbone Teacher of Colleges and Universities in Jiangxi Province (2011)", and "Nominee for the Top Ten Teaching Model Award of Nanchang University (2020)".
Additionally, they hold important academic and advisory positions, serving as:
• Vice Chairman of the Nanchang Urban-Rural Spatial Planning Society;
• Standing Member of the Urban Renewal Professional Committee of the 9th Jiangxi Civil Engineering and Architecture Society;
