Personal Information
Mei Xiaoqing, male, Han ethnicity, born in May 1969 in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and holds a Master’s degree. Currently, he serves as a Member of the Party Committee of the School of Architecture and Design at Nanchang University, Dean of the Department of Art and Design, Professor, and Master’s Supervisor. He also acts as a Director of the Interior Design Branch of the Architectural Society of China, a Director of the Prefabricated Decoration Branch of the China Building Materials Market Association, and the Deputy Director of the Art Education Committee of the Jiangxi Artists Association.
His main research focuses on medical and health care space design and rural revitalization design within the field of environmental design. He has presided over horizontal research projects with a total funding of more than 1.2 million RMB, published 1 monograph, edited 6 textbooks, and authored 15 academic papers in core journals and other prestigious publications. He has guided students to win more than 100 awards in national and provincial-level design competitions.
