Shao Yu, a master's supervisor and professional course instructor, is an associate professor. After graduating from the design major in 1993, he participated in the establishment of the Art Department of Nanchang University and has been teaching there ever since. His main teaching courses include art fundamentals and professional courses. He and his students have participated in various competitions and won numerous national and provincial awards. He has also led multiple educational reform projects, among which his research paper "The Application of Graphic Creative Design in Junior High School Art Teaching" was reprinted in full by the Renmin University Reprint Materials. His main research directions are art design, art history, and the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese culture. He has led multiple related research projects. His personal professional creations focus on decorative graphics and original hand-drawn works, which have been published in various newspapers and magazines. During his many years of research on traditional Chinese culture and art, he has published many academic papers, among which "An Analysis of the Reasons for the Emergence and Development of Song Dynasty Genre Painting" was published in the Journal of Nanchang University (a Chinese core journal and CSSCI source journal) and was included in the "Xinhua Digest".
