Associate Professor at the School of Architecture and Design, Nanchang University; Head of the Architecture Department; PhD candidate at Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia); Master’s supervisor; National Registered Urban and Rural Planner (PRC); Visiting Scholar at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand; Member of the Urban Renewal Professional Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Civil and Architectural Society.

His research interests focus on urban design, GIS-based technologies, and urban regeneration. He has led two provincial-level research projects, one provincial teaching reform project, and two university-level teaching reform projects; received one university-level Teaching Excellence Award; and has been responsible for two university-level First-Class Courses. He has served as the chief editor of a textbook.

Committed to the integration of industry, academia, and research, he has led and completed numerous vertical and commissioned research projects, and has undertaken over 30 architectural and urban design projects, including the Overall Urban Design of Chengbei New District, Jing’an County, the Urban Design of the Modern Industrial Agglomeration Area in Dexing County, the Urban Design of Nankang Financial Centre, and the Urban Design of the Modern Industrial Park in Xingguo County.

He has published more than 20 academic papers, including articles in leading Chinese journals such as Architect and Huazhong Architecture, as well as multiple SCI-indexed publications. He has participated in the formulation of two local standards and has been awarded three provincial-level Surveying and Engineering Design Awards.
