Research focus on: weight-reduction and modularization of service robots, AI-integrated wearable EMG design, generative design and generative network key recognition, education, and social design.
Since assuming current positions:
1. In charge of 2 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, including one major provincial research project; led 3 horizontal research projects, with a total project funding of over three million yuan. Obtained 4 national invention patents and 8 utility model patents.
2. Achieved 3 national-level awards and 1 provincial gold award. The core achievement, "Dianshi Curtain Wall Cleaning Robot," won the Bronze Award in the Intelligent Manufacturing category of the 2020 China Design and Manufacturing Award (other Bronze Award recipients included Didi Chuxing Digital Economy project). In the same year, it won the Silver Award in "SMART EXPO Cup" China (Chongqing) Industrial Design Competition. Students' works have won numerous awards in major international and domestic competitions, including the National Bronze Award at the inaugural University AI Top 10 Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, among more than ten other awards.
3. Published 8 academic papers, including 3 Q2-ranked papers, 1 IEEE-indexed paper, and 2 core Chinese journal papers, focusing on the research and practice of the deep integration of industrial design with industry. Led and participated in the compilation of 2 national group standards, and managed over 250 design projects spanning seven core areas: communication electronics, medical devices, consumer electronics, new energy vehicles, healthcare, service robots, and AI-based smart education. Innovatively applied the "D+X" business model to provide integrated innovation design services to multiple enterprises, including Hongcheng Building Group, Dianshi Technology, and Shan Hai Guan, generating an economic impact exceeding 100 million RMB.
