Personal Information
Lu Yitian, a joint training Ph.D., graduated from South China University of Technology and the University of Michigan, USA. Currently, she serves as a core teacher in the Architecture discipline at Nanchang University, devoting herself to the front line of teaching and research. She undertakes core teaching tasks for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, teaching research-oriented courses such as technology-driven complex functional architectural design, architecture-related VR, and intelligent construction. She focuses on the deep integration of cutting-edge technologies and architectural education.
Her research fields are extensive and cutting-edge, covering campus planning, educational building design, inheritance and innovation of Jiangxi regional architecture, as well as emerging directions such as architecture-related VR, parametric architectural design, and intelligent construction. Meanwhile, she is committed to promoting urban renewal and building adaptive reuse under the concept of green architecture, providing professional solutions for the sustainable development of cities.
She has achieved fruitful academic results, publishing many papers in top domestic architectural journals such as Architectural Journal, authoring one monograph, and obtaining multiple domestic and international invention patents as the first inventor. In academic exchanges and project practice, she took the lead in hosting the 1st Jiangxi Provincial Symposium on VR Teaching for Architecture-related Majors in 2020, and has presided over numerous Industry-University Collaborative Education Projects of the Ministry of Education, promoting the collaborative development of the architectural discipline, industry, and technology.
