Dr. Baomin Gu is an Associate Professor and master's supervisor in the Department of Physics, School of Physics and Materials Science, Nanchang University, and a recipient of the Ganjiang Young Scholar Program. He obtained his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Lanzhou University in 2018, where he pursued doctoral studies from 2013 to 2018. From September 2017 to August 2018, he was a visiting doctoral student at McGill University, Canada, under a joint training program of China Scholarship Council (CSC). He joined Nanchang University in February 2019.
To date, Dr. Gu has published more than 20 research articles in leading international journals, including Physical Review D and Journal of High Energy Physics (JHEP), with over 500 citations. He has served as principal investigator for two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and one provincial-level research project. His research interests lie in gravitation and cosmology, with recent work focusing on the origin of the Universe, gravitational waves, black hole physics, extra dimensions, and braneworld scenarios.
