Huang Biwu, Ph.D., Professor, School of Physics and Materials, Nanchang University.

Worked at the Experimental Workshop of the Hunan Provincial Chemical Industry Research Institute from August 1982 to August 1988. Enrolled in the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Central South University in September 1988 to pursue a master's degree (under the national planned enrollment) and graduated in April 1991. Worked at the Yueyang Petrochemical General Plant of China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec) from May 1991 to August 2002. During the tenure at the Yueyang Petrochemical General Plant, presided over and participated in more than 10 scientific research projects, achieving multiple research outcomes and generating significant economic benefits. Appointed as Engineer of the Yueyang Petrochemical General Plant in 1994 and Senior Engineer of China Petrochemical Corporation in 2000. Served as Deputy Director of the Epoxy Resin Research Institute of the Yueyang Petrochemical General Plant from 1998 to 2002. Enrolled in the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in September 2002 to pursue a doctoral degree (under the national planned enrollment), graduating with a Ph.D. in June 2005. Taught at the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology from July 2005 to June 2006, appointed as Associate Professor. Joined Nanchang University after July 2006. To date, has published over 70 papers in domestic and international journals and applied for 19 national invention patents as the first inventor, of which 8 have been granted.

Main Research Fields: Research on the preparation of materials for 3D printing stereolithography rapid prototyping, research on the preparation of specialty epoxy resins, and research on the preparation of UV-curable materials. Research projects have been supported by multiple funds including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education Foundation. With ample research funding, warmly welcomes young students interested in this research field to join the research team.
