Personal Information
Li Yuechuan, male, born in August 1983, received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and earned his PhD in Architectural History and Theory from South China University of Technology. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Edinburgh under a national government-sponsored program. He is currently an Associate Professor and Master’s supervisor at Nanchang University.
His research interests include architectural aesthetics, traditional settlements and vernacular dwellings, and overseas Chinese architecture. He has served as principal investigator for two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as several research and educational reform projects funded by the Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Foundation, the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Program of Jiangxi Universities, and the Jiangxi Provincial Degree and Graduate Education Teaching Reform Program. He has published one academic monograph, which received the Second Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Achievement Award, and has authored more than ten academic journal articles.
